HAPPY TEACHERS' DAY

Friends, every year in India, we celebrate the birthday of Dr. S. K. Radhakrishnan as TEACHERS DAY. It is a day to cherish what our teachers have done for us, and to repay them atleast a little. Dedicating my post to all my teachers from parents to sirs, madams, friends, and life.. I wish you all a happy teachers day.

Educating the human race since long,
They say you the difference between right & wrong.
Whenever the path before you looks blurred,
They make you bloom lotus even in the mud.
They always keep on inspiring you,
They are known as teachers whose importance is known to few.

On this auspicious teachers day,
To all my teachers I wish to say.
That you all have taught me unforgettable things,
Which has made me a successful human being.
My parents being the first of them,
And then my nursery and school teachers came.
All have taught me the basics of living,
That has let new ideas in my mind conceiving.
Then came three colleges each for a different degree,
And through my teachers new branches grew on my knowledge tree.
That knowledge is not only for getting a job,
But to know myself better and what I love.

The knowledge I gained has made me what I am.
It is much more than earning money or fame.
The experiences they imparted has helped me a lot,
In stressful situations, it helps me to smoothly sail my life boat.
Even the punishments today seems like a blessing.
And with my teachers’ help in life, I keep on rocking.

Apart from that, my life and some friends,
Have given me few lessons first hand.
Some are good and others are bad,
But the lessons I learnt were like butter and bread.
To all my teachers again I say,
I want to be your student now and every day.

You all are the life lines of every generation,
As you are the torch-bearers of education.
You impart the knowledge of life with such a minimal fees,
Your selfless social service seldom is noticed.
But today on the teacher's day eve,
Let's try to return something for the knowledge you give.
Let's cheer for everyone who has taught us something,
Because to be honest, without teachers we are nothing.

P.S. Teaching creates all other professions.

KARMA IS A BITCH...

Today I encountered a good experience, and my belief on GOD or whatever you call strengthened more. Its true whatever you do, will return back to you because KARMA IS A BITCH... Hope you all like it...  Today morning a wonderful experience I had, Though it felt good, trust me for someone it was bad. But what to do KARMA IS A BITCH, It never leaves till to you a lesson it teach. For every single word you speak that hurts other, One day with interest returns back to you and bother. But I am happy that someone is there, Who is ready to give every human their deserving share. Experiences in past had already made me a believer of God, But today I knew that no human is spared from his sword. The saying is true that, as you sow, so shall you reap; Even in a second the fortunes can flip. Don't hurt someone who's poor due to your present high status, Because even from the mud, someday blooms a lotus. For people who think nothing bad can happ...

KNOWLEDGE AND WISDOM

Knowledge and wisdom. Just like 2 sides of the same coin.  Some feel knowledge is more important while for a few others, wisdom goes a long way. In my opinion, though, they both contribute more or less equally to a person's life. Yes, there are exceptions; a lot of exceptions. Still, I believe, with growth, with new generations coming in, both will play equal roles. During the beginning, knowledge surely has a greater role to play, but with age, wisdom and experiences are things that shall also matter a lot.  Now, knowledge and wisdom both grow with every new generation that impends on this planet. While the baggage of knowledge grows more as compared to wisdom because of the sheer amount of new technologies and inventions/discoveries that add up to the existing knowledge tree, wisdom is more subtle. Wisdom cannot be gained by surfing the internet, reading news articles, or on google. To develop wisdom, more creative approaches are required. Wisdom gets transferred from one ge...

A GIFT FOR THE BRIDE

A fter almost 3 months, I am blogging. This time its a story which is already there on my fb page. Happy reading. Sunaina, a girl of 24 years in the suburbs of Odisha was readying herself to leave her own home. The home of her own parents. It is 6 am in the morning. The night that just passed brought a big change in her life. From a cute cuddly daughter and sister, she has now become someone’s wife. She knows her husband well, but still she is not able to understand why she’s having that heartache. Silently, sitting in her room, tears were flowing down from her eyes. She was thinking how to control her tears. But she was unable to hold them back. Slowly, the door opened and she tried to wipe out her tears. Her brother silently stood and stared at her. She looked up and said, “Bhaiya, what happened?” Her brother, Manas entered the room and sat near her. “Sister, do you remember when you were six and I was eight, we played as kids with me performing your marriage. Do you ...
