SAY NO TO BODY-SHAMING

All must have heard, or themselves would have involved in shaming others body at some point of time. Well, google says "the action or practice of humiliating someone by making mocking or critical comments about their body shape or size" is called body shaming. And I say no to it... What are your takes on it ???

He is as fat as an elephant,
And that girl is as dark as coal.
The other boy's head can be used for tent,
And that girl is as plastic as doll.

Don’t you find it unusual?
That in our society these are usual.
Why shaming others’ body is so common?
Which all know are because of hormones.

Who gave us the power?
To show someone lower,
Based on colour of skin,
Or someone being fat or thin?

Body shaming is usually termed fun,
Till we are not the victim and it’s not our turn.
All deserve to live happily whoever is born,
No one has right to hurt & make others feel torn.

No one can anticipate the harm that’s done,
Victims become unsocial or try to live alone.
With comments they get, their confidence gets blown;
The pain that inflicts is more than weight of thousand ton.

I think that body shaming is the seed,
Which turns into evil once allowed to feed.
Don’t allow this seed to creep into your brain,
And be someone that defines being human.
Freedom is something which India has already fought,
Now it’s our turn to give every pervert their final shot.

P.S. No PS this time... just a collection of pics below to say BODY SHAMING is never right...

KARMA IS A BITCH...

Today I encountered a good experience, and my belief on GOD or whatever you call strengthened more. Its true whatever you do, will return back to you because KARMA IS A BITCH... Hope you all like it...  Today morning a wonderful experience I had, Though it felt good, trust me for someone it was bad. But what to do KARMA IS A BITCH, It never leaves till to you a lesson it teach. For every single word you speak that hurts other, One day with interest returns back to you and bother. But I am happy that someone is there, Who is ready to give every human their deserving share. Experiences in past had already made me a believer of God, But today I knew that no human is spared from his sword. The saying is true that, as you sow, so shall you reap; Even in a second the fortunes can flip. Don't hurt someone who's poor due to your present high status, Because even from the mud, someday blooms a lotus. For people who think nothing bad can happ...

KNOWLEDGE AND WISDOM

Knowledge and wisdom. Just like 2 sides of the same coin.  Some feel knowledge is more important while for a few others, wisdom goes a long way. In my opinion, though, they both contribute more or less equally to a person's life. Yes, there are exceptions; a lot of exceptions. Still, I believe, with growth, with new generations coming in, both will play equal roles. During the beginning, knowledge surely has a greater role to play, but with age, wisdom and experiences are things that shall also matter a lot.  Now, knowledge and wisdom both grow with every new generation that impends on this planet. While the baggage of knowledge grows more as compared to wisdom because of the sheer amount of new technologies and inventions/discoveries that add up to the existing knowledge tree, wisdom is more subtle. Wisdom cannot be gained by surfing the internet, reading news articles, or on google. To develop wisdom, more creative approaches are required. Wisdom gets transferred from one ge...

A LESSON FROM AN ORPHAN

Friends, this blogpost is an emotional one; atleast for me. And I think you all will also feel connected to it. Its about a poor boy and his story that wrenches everyone's heart but also we all have to learn something from that story. Hope you all will like it... As I was walking on the road, And thinking about the money that I borrowed. I saw a boy, begging a person for food; And that person was behaving unusually rude. He scolded, “Why don’t you do something to earn? And don’t do this business of begging for fun.” Staring at him, I thought, it’s his age to learn; And not to work under someone and earn. My conscience stopped me but still I wanted to ask, That what has made him to undertake this daunting task. I went near him and saw him for a while, With a torn up shirt and greasy pant, he was looking fragile. Though his eyes had many dreams to achieve, But he lacked the money for the knowledge to receive. Flies and stray dogs looked li...
