A LESSON FROM AN ORPHAN

Friends, this blogpost is an emotional one; atleast for me. And I think you all will also feel connected to it. Its about a poor boy and his story that wrenches everyone's heart but also we all have to learn something from that story. Hope you all will like it...

As I was walking on the road,
And thinking about the money that I borrowed.
I saw a boy, begging a person for food;
And that person was behaving unusually rude.
He scolded, “Why don’t you do something to earn?
And don’t do this business of begging for fun.”

Staring at him, I thought, it’s his age to learn;
And not to work under someone and earn.
My conscience stopped me but still I wanted to ask,
That what has made him to undertake this daunting task.
I went near him and saw him for a while,
With a torn up shirt and greasy pant, he was looking fragile.

Though his eyes had many dreams to achieve,
But he lacked the money for the knowledge to receive.
Flies and stray dogs looked like his only friends,
For never in his life, he got any help from human hands.
One hand repeatedly was trying to stop the running nose,
And the other hand was busy in begging when anyone walked by close.

Finally with a heavy heart, I asked “Who are you?” to the boy,
An answer came from him followed by a silent cry.
“When I was born, my dad left me and my mom to die,
People say I’m a curse to this society, but I don’t know why.
Mother died of lack of medicines but no one bothered to help,
And I, an orphan is the reason for all this, that’s what people always yelp.”

Even my eyes got wet by the tone of his answer,
His face had so many questions, to which I had no answers.
The holes on his shirts were yelling out loud,
Why am I so much torn in this big crowd?
I didn’t know what to do to make him feel better,
So that he realizes that the whole humanity is not his hater.

I decided and consoled him that everything will turn out good;
And gave him a 100 rupees note and told him to have some food.
He didn’t take the note and instead he held my hand,
With folding hands and teary eyes, he asked, “Can you be my friend?”
I didn’t know what to say, as my heart started to ache;
I hugged him tight and nodded my head as I knew the tears were not fake.

I always knew humans need friends to share their feelings,
But had never seen a heart with such painful bleeding.
He took the note from me and said lets have some food,
Looking him smile from the heart, I felt very good.
I learnt the essence of humanity from a so called curse and orphan,
It is never money, rather true love and compassion that makes us human.
After possessing unbound wealth and always being on news,
Still if you eat alone, then what is that wealth’s use?

P.S. Spread smiles... It helps someone to live their life...

KARMA IS A BITCH...

Today I encountered a good experience, and my belief on GOD or whatever you call strengthened more. Its true whatever you do, will return back to you because KARMA IS A BITCH... Hope you all like it...  Today morning a wonderful experience I had, Though it felt good, trust me for someone it was bad. But what to do KARMA IS A BITCH, It never leaves till to you a lesson it teach. For every single word you speak that hurts other, One day with interest returns back to you and bother. But I am happy that someone is there, Who is ready to give every human their deserving share. Experiences in past had already made me a believer of God, But today I knew that no human is spared from his sword. The saying is true that, as you sow, so shall you reap; Even in a second the fortunes can flip. Don't hurt someone who's poor due to your present high status, Because even from the mud, someday blooms a lotus. For people who think nothing bad can happ...

KNOWLEDGE AND WISDOM

Knowledge and wisdom. Just like 2 sides of the same coin.  Some feel knowledge is more important while for a few others, wisdom goes a long way. In my opinion, though, they both contribute more or less equally to a person's life. Yes, there are exceptions; a lot of exceptions. Still, I believe, with growth, with new generations coming in, both will play equal roles. During the beginning, knowledge surely has a greater role to play, but with age, wisdom and experiences are things that shall also matter a lot.  Now, knowledge and wisdom both grow with every new generation that impends on this planet. While the baggage of knowledge grows more as compared to wisdom because of the sheer amount of new technologies and inventions/discoveries that add up to the existing knowledge tree, wisdom is more subtle. Wisdom cannot be gained by surfing the internet, reading news articles, or on google. To develop wisdom, more creative approaches are required. Wisdom gets transferred from one ge...

AN ODE TO SOLDIERS...

This post is purely an emotional one as I dedicate this to all our soldiers for whom we are safe and living a carefree life... THANKS SOLDIERS for protecting our country and us...  Hope you all like this post... I was dozing off the bed when something caught my attention, Two soldiers were killed while protecting our nation. I felt very bad and anger engulfed my soul, I wanted those terrorists to be hanged on some electric pole. I tried to sleep but was disturbed by the news, I was done by those hi-status peoples' views. Enough has been said on this very topic, But what people do except sharing some pics?? On social media all keep on shouting, Some speak in favor while others start fighting. I love my India and the people protecting it, I am no one to question them as I am not that fit. I know for me waking safely after every night, Someone is ready to give up his life and fight. I know if I am able to walk and drive without any ...
