FIGHT DEPRESSION...

Friends, DEPRESSION a word that haunts many people but they seldom speak about it.. Inspired from my own life, few friends life and yeah "Live Love Laugh Foundation", I have penned down this blogpost.. Hope you all like this as the title says everything.

Yes, most of us feel it,
When life feels like a shit.
When by a shock you are so hard hit,
That you feel your life on this earth is complete.

The tears try to come out but you don’t cry,
Nobody hears your pain, even if you try.
Behind the closed doors of your room,
Suicidal tendencies in your head does loom.

Yes, most have felt this situation,
Which is known to the world as DEPRESSION.
But shouldn’t we help those who are in this tension
Instead of just making fun of their situation?

Yes, we can and we will help them,
Just by asking again with the question remaining same.
"How are you?" a simple question that will help them share,
Their stories of depressing moods which we need to care.

At first instant a person may answer "I am good",
But the truth shall come out if u ask again "what happened dude?"
Show them compassion and try to understand how they feel,
Because depression doesn’t mean they are losers, they are just ill.

Try to show them the happiness around them,
Try to remove their deepest pain.
Try to remove that feeling that has put them in shame,
Try to ignite in them the happiness flame.
Try to bring smiles to a depressed person's face,

Because at the end we all belong to the same human race.

P.S. Depression is living in a body that fights to survive with a mind that tries to die. Lets heal it...

KARMA IS A BITCH...

Today I encountered a good experience, and my belief on GOD or whatever you call strengthened more. Its true whatever you do, will return back to you because KARMA IS A BITCH... Hope you all like it...  Today morning a wonderful experience I had, Though it felt good, trust me for someone it was bad. But what to do KARMA IS A BITCH, It never leaves till to you a lesson it teach. For every single word you speak that hurts other, One day with interest returns back to you and bother. But I am happy that someone is there, Who is ready to give every human their deserving share. Experiences in past had already made me a believer of God, But today I knew that no human is spared from his sword. The saying is true that, as you sow, so shall you reap; Even in a second the fortunes can flip. Don't hurt someone who's poor due to your present high status, Because even from the mud, someday blooms a lotus. For people who think nothing bad can happ...

KNOWLEDGE AND WISDOM

Knowledge and wisdom. Just like 2 sides of the same coin.  Some feel knowledge is more important while for a few others, wisdom goes a long way. In my opinion, though, they both contribute more or less equally to a person's life. Yes, there are exceptions; a lot of exceptions. Still, I believe, with growth, with new generations coming in, both will play equal roles. During the beginning, knowledge surely has a greater role to play, but with age, wisdom and experiences are things that shall also matter a lot.  Now, knowledge and wisdom both grow with every new generation that impends on this planet. While the baggage of knowledge grows more as compared to wisdom because of the sheer amount of new technologies and inventions/discoveries that add up to the existing knowledge tree, wisdom is more subtle. Wisdom cannot be gained by surfing the internet, reading news articles, or on google. To develop wisdom, more creative approaches are required. Wisdom gets transferred from one ge...

A GIFT FOR THE BRIDE

A fter almost 3 months, I am blogging. This time its a story which is already there on my fb page. Happy reading. Sunaina, a girl of 24 years in the suburbs of Odisha was readying herself to leave her own home. The home of her own parents. It is 6 am in the morning. The night that just passed brought a big change in her life. From a cute cuddly daughter and sister, she has now become someone’s wife. She knows her husband well, but still she is not able to understand why she’s having that heartache. Silently, sitting in her room, tears were flowing down from her eyes. She was thinking how to control her tears. But she was unable to hold them back. Slowly, the door opened and she tried to wipe out her tears. Her brother silently stood and stared at her. She looked up and said, “Bhaiya, what happened?” Her brother, Manas entered the room and sat near her. “Sister, do you remember when you were six and I was eight, we played as kids with me performing your marriage. Do you ...
