... AND I MET A STRANGER

Friends, this writing is a description of a stranger, rather a beautiful stranger, which I have tried to pen down here. I hope you all like the description of that stranger.

On every Monday I visit the temple,
To show God – my problems sample;
Few years before, on a similar day,
I had met a stranger which I want to say.

A voice I heard, when I was discussing my problems with God,
Excuse me, it said which struck my heart like a chord.
Is it God who is so much impressed by me?
Or whose voice on earth can sound sweeter then honey?

Again the same sound came, please excuse me,
And I understood there’s really someone behind me.
I gave her space, so that she could cross me,
And when she crossed, a heavenly feeling engulfed me.

What a sweet perfume, I wanted to exclaim;
It had the power to send me straight upto heaven.
Her black wet hairs brushed my face,
I went into a frenzy, and dreamt of winning her in a race.

She stood in front of me, and started praying;
All I just did, was keep her staring.
Though I hadn’t seen her face yet,
I knew it would be more beautiful than Karan Johar’s romantic set.

From her back, I could see those long tresses,
I just imagined, how beautiful would be her face!!
She had those small peacock shaped ear rings,
It perfectly suited her ears and I wanted to sing.
She had worn a pink kurti with whitish pink chunni,
Any boy would fall for this beauty and would want her to be his honey.
She asked the priest to perform some ritual,
It seemed honey was pouring out of her mouth, her voice was so special.

She looked to a side, searching for a matchstick,
And it helped me to get a glimpse of her face pic.
Oh god she was so beautiful and amazingly simple,
And when she smiled, I would die for that dimple.

She lit the lamp and brought it close to her,
The fire near her face wanted me to click a pic there.
She kept the lamp and finished praying God,
And then she turned around and her complete face showed.

Oh what a beauty, God has shown me today,
She looked like an angel on earth, that I wanted to say.
Her eyes were so beautiful, that I wanted to swim in it,
And she was looking so cute, that I wanted to hug her tight.

That day I had visited temple to catch a glimpse of God,
But to me, a heavenly beauty, was what God showed.
I know I may never meet her again in my life time,
But she will always come in my dreams and make me smile every time.
After leaving the temple, she had turned back and had gave me a smile,
And even today, for that one look of hers I am ready to walk a million mile.

P.S. - Keep admiring the beautiful things around you. You will always remain happy. :)

KARMA IS A BITCH...

Today I encountered a good experience, and my belief on GOD or whatever you call strengthened more. Its true whatever you do, will return back to you because KARMA IS A BITCH... Hope you all like it...  Today morning a wonderful experience I had, Though it felt good, trust me for someone it was bad. But what to do KARMA IS A BITCH, It never leaves till to you a lesson it teach. For every single word you speak that hurts other, One day with interest returns back to you and bother. But I am happy that someone is there, Who is ready to give every human their deserving share. Experiences in past had already made me a believer of God, But today I knew that no human is spared from his sword. The saying is true that, as you sow, so shall you reap; Even in a second the fortunes can flip. Don't hurt someone who's poor due to your present high status, Because even from the mud, someday blooms a lotus. For people who think nothing bad can happ...

KNOWLEDGE AND WISDOM

Knowledge and wisdom. Just like 2 sides of the same coin.  Some feel knowledge is more important while for a few others, wisdom goes a long way. In my opinion, though, they both contribute more or less equally to a person's life. Yes, there are exceptions; a lot of exceptions. Still, I believe, with growth, with new generations coming in, both will play equal roles. During the beginning, knowledge surely has a greater role to play, but with age, wisdom and experiences are things that shall also matter a lot.  Now, knowledge and wisdom both grow with every new generation that impends on this planet. While the baggage of knowledge grows more as compared to wisdom because of the sheer amount of new technologies and inventions/discoveries that add up to the existing knowledge tree, wisdom is more subtle. Wisdom cannot be gained by surfing the internet, reading news articles, or on google. To develop wisdom, more creative approaches are required. Wisdom gets transferred from one ge...

A GIFT FOR THE BRIDE

A fter almost 3 months, I am blogging. This time its a story which is already there on my fb page. Happy reading. Sunaina, a girl of 24 years in the suburbs of Odisha was readying herself to leave her own home. The home of her own parents. It is 6 am in the morning. The night that just passed brought a big change in her life. From a cute cuddly daughter and sister, she has now become someone’s wife. She knows her husband well, but still she is not able to understand why she’s having that heartache. Silently, sitting in her room, tears were flowing down from her eyes. She was thinking how to control her tears. But she was unable to hold them back. Slowly, the door opened and she tried to wipe out her tears. Her brother silently stood and stared at her. She looked up and said, “Bhaiya, what happened?” Her brother, Manas entered the room and sat near her. “Sister, do you remember when you were six and I was eight, we played as kids with me performing your marriage. Do you ...
