CRITICIZING OTHERS: A HOBBY OF TODAY'S GENERATION

Certainly in last few years, I have noticed every person on this planet is trying to be a critic. And its not constructive criticism. Its mostly about defaming others without knowing anything. Through this post, I am requesting everyone; don't be so passive and act like a sadist in your life. If you really want to do something, then do something that will work for the all round development of the society and the nature. Hope you all like the post...

For the last few months I have been noticing a thing,
Criticizing has become a hobby for most human beings.
I don’t know from when this practice has come here,
Or it was always there, I am noticing it when the adult age is near.
Critics is considered good in a constructive way,
But today for any event a person is maligned and made a prey.

Criticism has become synonymous to defamation now-a-days,
Those who don’t know ABC of a subject also have something to say.
Social networks have given the freedom to all,
Virtually attacking someone has become an easy task after all.
Though it’s known that every individual has a different story,
People have become so jealous; they always want to bring down his/her glory.

Those who are matured, take these critics as a joke;
But those who are young, seeing negativity about themselves they get a shock.
It feels as if praising someone’s good deed has become a very hard work,
But criticizing someone’s life help people gain some perk.
It feels really sad to see where human race is heading,
With jealousy and pessimism where will it have its landing?

A person divorcing another is not a new news today,
But without knowing the details, pretending has become common these days.
Even media has not spared the privacy of anybody’s life,
Without any knowledge, they blabber victim is always the wife.
Don’t misunderstand the line that I have wrote above,
But at-least do a background check before declaring the victim of love.

Amidst these chaos and disorder, sometimes when I see;
Still there are people for whom helping others is happiness’ key.
Those who care for all like their own body and soul,
And seeing a smile on everyone’s face is their life’s main goal.
They share their happiness with everyone they meet,
From sweeper to a government officer in equal way they treat.

I feel they are the people from whom the whole community should learn,
As they know that the value of peace and happiness is more than the money we earn.
No one in this world knows what will happen next,
So please try to contribute to the society by giving your best.
Without indulging in maligning people on facebook and twitter,
Try to do something constructive for human race for a better today and future.

Life is lived once, please make it worth living,
Admiring someone’s good work will make you a better being.
A good and pure heart is what everybody yearns for,
Make yours a heart of gold and on you happiness always will pour.
Being evil & denigrating is very easy, try to be good & eulogizing which is tougher;
Spread the positive force all around you; that’s a humble request from this writer.

P.S. - SPREAD POSITIVITY WHEREVER YOU GO, AND IN YOUR LIFE HAPPINESS WILL FLOW

KARMA IS A BITCH...

Today I encountered a good experience, and my belief on GOD or whatever you call strengthened more. Its true whatever you do, will return back to you because KARMA IS A BITCH... Hope you all like it...  Today morning a wonderful experience I had, Though it felt good, trust me for someone it was bad. But what to do KARMA IS A BITCH, It never leaves till to you a lesson it teach. For every single word you speak that hurts other, One day with interest returns back to you and bother. But I am happy that someone is there, Who is ready to give every human their deserving share. Experiences in past had already made me a believer of God, But today I knew that no human is spared from his sword. The saying is true that, as you sow, so shall you reap; Even in a second the fortunes can flip. Don't hurt someone who's poor due to your present high status, Because even from the mud, someday blooms a lotus. For people who think nothing bad can happ...

KNOWLEDGE AND WISDOM

Knowledge and wisdom. Just like 2 sides of the same coin.  Some feel knowledge is more important while for a few others, wisdom goes a long way. In my opinion, though, they both contribute more or less equally to a person's life. Yes, there are exceptions; a lot of exceptions. Still, I believe, with growth, with new generations coming in, both will play equal roles. During the beginning, knowledge surely has a greater role to play, but with age, wisdom and experiences are things that shall also matter a lot.  Now, knowledge and wisdom both grow with every new generation that impends on this planet. While the baggage of knowledge grows more as compared to wisdom because of the sheer amount of new technologies and inventions/discoveries that add up to the existing knowledge tree, wisdom is more subtle. Wisdom cannot be gained by surfing the internet, reading news articles, or on google. To develop wisdom, more creative approaches are required. Wisdom gets transferred from one ge...

A GIFT FOR THE BRIDE

A fter almost 3 months, I am blogging. This time its a story which is already there on my fb page. Happy reading. Sunaina, a girl of 24 years in the suburbs of Odisha was readying herself to leave her own home. The home of her own parents. It is 6 am in the morning. The night that just passed brought a big change in her life. From a cute cuddly daughter and sister, she has now become someone’s wife. She knows her husband well, but still she is not able to understand why she’s having that heartache. Silently, sitting in her room, tears were flowing down from her eyes. She was thinking how to control her tears. But she was unable to hold them back. Slowly, the door opened and she tried to wipe out her tears. Her brother silently stood and stared at her. She looked up and said, “Bhaiya, what happened?” Her brother, Manas entered the room and sat near her. “Sister, do you remember when you were six and I was eight, we played as kids with me performing your marriage. Do you ...
